LOCATION
The Hilton Alexandria Old Town is just four miles from Reagan National Airport (DCA), under quarter of a mile from the National Science Foundation and eight miles from Washington, D.C. ROOM RESERVATION
A reservation has been made for you at the Hilton Alexandria Old Town in the workshop block of rooms under your name with Check In: 10/21 and Check Out: 10/23 unless you have corresponded differently. If you need to make any adjustments to your arrival or check out times, please contact workshop coordinator, Sara Bradley. The workshop has a block of rooms reserved that the main reservation desk folks can not access until the check in date.
TRAVEL
Please make your own travel arrangements to Alexandria, VA and send the itinerary showing ticket price to Sara Bradley. Also, please make air/ground transportation reservations as early as possible to take advantage of lower fares. Federal travel restrictions apply (coach/economy only). OVERSEAS TRAVELERS: Fly America Act rules apply.
AIR
Reagan National Airport (DCA) is the most convenient airport to The Hilton Alexandria Old Town (4 miles away) and both are on the DC Metro (BLUE and YELLOW LINES Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport to King Street-Old Town, only 2 stops away). The Hilton is only 39 steps from the King Street-Old Town Metro Station. Dulles Airport (IAD) also serves the area and is a 45-60 minute cab ride away.
